Glow Counseling Solutions
Individual Mental Health Counseling and Psychotherapy in PA & NJ
Welcome! Glow Counseling Solutions is a Philadelphia-based mental health practice which focuses on empowering older teens and adults through individual talk therapy, skill building, comprehensive care, and values exploration.
My mental health therapy approach is relational, strengths based, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be supportive, affirming, and evidence based (backed by research).
I specialize in treating Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorders, Trauma, Identity Struggles, Self-Esteem, Addictions, and Life Transitions.
My work primarily focuses on treating comorbid, co-occurring, and dual diagnosis disorders, all slightly different terms ultimately meaning I work with individuals who have more than one mental health condition or presenting concern at a time. Many mental health conditions and life stressors interact and influence one another. In order to benefit the most from therapy, it is important to make sure your treatment is inclusive and holistically treats all your concerns.
Individuals I typically work with:
- Have underlying negative beliefs about themselves, such as “I am a failure” or “I am not good enough”
- Are experiencing symptoms from more than one mental health condition at one time (for example: racing intrusive thoughts from anxiety and isolation from depression)
- Have mental health difficulties and major life transitions happening at once
- Have two or more mental health diagnoses
- Struggle with managing emotions and communication
- Struggle with addiction and mental health
- Are open to having a team approach towards healing (for example: if appropriate, having myself and a medication prescriber collaborate to provide comprehensive care)
- Have certain behaviors that are negatively impacting themselves and those around them
- Have experienced emotional trauma during childhood and or adolescence that is impacting their adult life
- Have struggles with physical health that is impacting their mental health

The commitment at Glow Counseling Solutions goes back to the definition of Glow, “give a steady light without a flame” and “a steady radiance of light”. My commitment is to help provide individuals the opportunity to find their light. I help to provide this opportunity by assisting people with reconnecting to themselves, achieving insight and a sense of control, finding relief and healing from painful experiences, having an improved sense of self-worth, obtaining meaningful growth, developing coping strategies, improving relationships, and achieving authenticity through acting on values. I hope to make individuals feel safe, supported, and accepted. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy practices are integral in my commitment to supporting individuals.
