About the Mental Health Professional

Hi! I’m Brittany Cilento Kopycienski

My Professional Passion as a Mental Health Therapist

I am passionate about the work I do as a mental health therapist because of the fulfillment I get from helping others navigate through their challenges and supporting them in their journey towards mental and emotional well-being. I also find joy in building meaningful connections with clients and witnessing their growth and transformation over time. I believe in power of therapy to empower individuals to lead happier, more fulfilling, authentic lives.

I find a sense of fulfillment in working longside others on their journey and helping them cultivate what they need to develop and keep their Glow.

My journey as a Mental Health Therapist started from my own personal experiences of when my glow was diminished. Finding support was key in me keeping my flame glowing and maintaining the ongoing light. I want to give others the gift that was given to me.

Education, Training, and Treatment Approach

I obtained my Masters degree in Professional Clinical Counseling from LaSalle University. I received my undergraduate degree from King’s College, where I studied Psychology and Neuroscience. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and Certified Trauma Professional. I hold a certification and license in Addiction Treatment. I am also a Licensed Counselor in the states of PA and NJ.

I have extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and hold a certification in DBT skills training. The majority of my graduate school career focused upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have post graduate training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Somatic Treatment, Trauma Informed Treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I am also trained in and hold a certification in professional mental health supervision. I regularly provide supervision and trainings to pre-licensed and licensed mental health professionals.

I embrace the power of relationship building through a humanistic orientation. I pride myself on being a Relational Therapist. I am also an expert in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Treatment, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I find that meeting each individual where they are at and gearing treatment towards them with an eclectic approach helps them to effectively process struggles and develop the skills they need to achieve goals and maintain meaningful change.
